Founder & Executive Director
With a background in policy, business, and a strong commitment to community, I’m driven to make a lasting impact on Phoenix. Through grassroots giveback initiatives, I’ve worked to build a foundation for real, positive change by addressing the city’s most pressing social challenges. My goal is to uplift Phoenix by tackling the homelessness and housing crisis, empowering future generations through education programs, and removing the stigma surrounding mental health, starting with our youth. As our city has grown, these social issues have become the downfall for too many, and it’s our mission to reverse this trend. Together, we’re working to create a thriving Phoenix for all.
William Travis
Relations Director
As a Phoenix native, I have witnessed both the remarkable growth and the challenges our city faces. This expansion has brought opportunities but also critical issues that need attention. Throughout my career and personal life, I’ve worked with people from diverse backgrounds to understand their struggles and find solutions to help them. With rising homelessness, lack of affordable housing, the drug epidemic, and declining mental health affecting our great city, I feel it is my duty to use my skills to create positive, impactful change. I am honored to bring my experience to the Rising Valley Project, where I collaborate with passionate young leaders dedicated to uplifting our community. My mission is to help others, one relationship at a time, as we work toward a brighter future for Phoenix.
Gabriel Carrillo
Strategic Director
My passion is people; and with expertise in planetary science, software, education, and business operations, I’m committed to using these skills to uplift the people of Phoenix. As a Phoenix native, I’m especially proud to contribute to the Rising Valley Project, where I apply my skillset in technology and operations to build impactful, sustainable solutions. By leveraging my background, I create sustainable and efficient systems and build meaningful connections that drive positive change for those we serve.
Joshua Dacey
Media Director
With a background in media, I’m honored to serve alongside a team dedicated to uplifting our Phoenix community. My focus is on creating authentic designs and a strong brand identity that bring the Rising Valley Project’s mission to life. I believe thoughtful visuals and branding can connect with people on a deeper level, inspiring them to support our cause. Through impactful design, I hope to strengthen our outreach and foster meaningful connections within the community. Together, we’re building a movement that aims to create real change for those we serve.
